Neelum valley is the most visited place in the Azad Kashmir by the tourists. The trip to Neelum Valley takes at least 3 to 4 nights stay. And there are many spots in Neelum valley to be visited by tourists. There is some basic instruction for tourists before leaving for Neelum Valley.
Best time to visit Neelum Valley: Mid of March to End of October.
What to wear: Casual clothing + warm uppers,shawls and jackets for nights and early morning.
Cautions: Be careful of sliding areas when it rains.
Hoteling areas: Muzaffarabad, Kutton,Keran, Sharda, Kel.
Reservation Procedure: Atleast one week before you visit Neelum valley, and during peak season confirm your reservation as soon as possible(may be month before your visit).

Any kind of vehicles can reach up to Muzaffarabad, Kutton and Keran. But onwards you will be provided with 4×4.
There are only landline PCOs available in Neelum Valley, no cellular communication after 40km after crossing Muzaffarabad.
Local Scom sim has started working in Neelum Valley.
